Managing Director – Performance Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in establishing and enhancing VMG Health's Margin Improvement & Performance Excellence services.

• Direct client engagements aimed at operational transformation, margin enhancement, revenue growth, cost optimization, productivity improvement, and overall organizational performance.

• Collaborate with executive leadership teams to uncover opportunities for growth, performance enhancement, and sustainable financial success.

• Create actionable strategies and implementation roadmaps that yield measurable operational and financial results.

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, physician leaders, and board members.

• Build and nurture client relationships while identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities.

• Work collaboratively across VMG Health service lines to provide integrated solutions and maximize client value.

• Support strategic partnerships, affiliations, joint ventures, and other growth initiatives.

• Contribute to thought leadership, market development, and the enhancement of performance excellence capabilities.

• Mentor and develop team members, promoting collaboration, accountability, and excellence in client service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in healthcare consulting, health system operations, strategy, performance improvement, transformation, or related leadership roles.

• Proven track record of leading margin improvement, operational excellence, performance transformation, or enterprise optimization projects.

• Experience working with hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and other healthcare provider organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to establish executive-level relationships and create new business opportunities.

• Experience in managing complex client engagements and overseeing multidisciplinary teams.

• In-depth understanding of healthcare provider economics, organizational performance, and operational improvement strategies.

• Strong knowledge of hospital operations, physician enterprise management, healthcare strategy, and financial performance enhancement.

• Exceptional skills in analysis, problem-solving, project management, and communication.

• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence senior stakeholders and lead strategic conversations.

• Ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment and assist in developing new capabilities and service offerings.
