This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of the complete strategy, growth, P&L performance, and operational execution for OPEN MINDS market intelligence service lines.
• Develop the long-term vision, go-to-market strategy, and expansion roadmap for the service line.
• Oversee revenue goals, pricing models, budget distributions, and financial performance.
• Set service delivery standards, KPIs, and scalable processes to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing and technology teams to align execution with enterprise objectives.
• Guide and mentor high-performing teams.
• Supervise the General Manager of Market Intelligence and manage daily executive briefings, newsletters, news services, databases, reports, webinars, and organizational profiles.
• Direct editorial planning, topic selection, content production, layout, editing, and publication cycles.
• Conduct research and make editorial decisions for company and client publications.
• Review and edit publications for adherence to style, tone, length, grammar, punctuation, and spelling standards.
• Develop and coach writing staff while assisting with artwork, photography, and text selection.
• Foster collaboration among editorial, marketing, and product teams to maintain a consistent brand message.
• Ensure timely completion of publications within budget constraints.
• Analyze subscription metrics and report on content effectiveness to inform future production and optimization.
• Edit pre-publication content on online platforms from both internal and external sources.
• Contribute to subscription sales and renewal processes, including virtual tours for subscribers.
• Oversee the General Manager of Executive Education, managing education-service planning, marketing, events, and business operations.
• Handle event logistics, vendor contracting, staffing plans, and event workplans.
• Achieve education revenue and profitability targets.
• Oversee executive education marketing strategies, websites, SEO, presentations, deliverables, curricula, agendas, speaker recruitment, and attendee experiences.
• Lead the development and delivery of high-quality content at both virtual and on-site executive education events.
• Ensure that the website user experience and published articles meet client and executive content standards.
• Stay updated on industry developments and trends.
• Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer while managing the General Manager of Market Intelligence, General Manager of Executive Education, and Editorial Production Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the health and human services sector.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience.
• Strong research capabilities, including independent research, analysis, and report generation.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret complex health care policies, technologies, and data.
• Experience in writing thought leadership pieces is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
• Experience publishing health and/or business content on large-scale websites.
• Proficient in editing content and providing thorough feedback across various topics.
• Ability to proofread documents for grammatical accuracy and correct formatting.
• Understanding of analytics with experience applying insights to future content production.
• Exceptional project management, organizational, communication, and analytical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile, team-oriented environment and lead through change and uncertainty.
• A curious, collaborative, and open-minded approach.
• Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, electronic data transfer programs, email, databases, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with C-Level executives is preferred.
• Capability to lift 35 pounds.
• Visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screens, and extensive reading.
• Willingness to travel unattended as necessary.
• Ability to use a personal credit card for occasional organizational purchases, subject to reimbursement.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
