This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new accounts for the organization.
• Seek and develop new business opportunities while analyzing market research data to inform sales strategies.
• Present and articulate financial products and their advantages to potential clients.
• Achieve or surpass targets related to volume, margin, fees, and cross-selling.
• Build and sustain networks of referral sources to identify capital access requirements.
• Gather application and financial data from borrowers to support underwriting and closing processes, including securing signed documents.
• Keep track of competitors and their offerings.
• Contribute positively to the company's production, portfolio performance, and overall reputation.
• Develop, manage, and uphold a pipeline aligned with active sales objectives.
• Negotiate effectively to enhance profitability on new ventures.
• Work in collaboration with other departments to optimize customer growth and retention.
• Support the implementation of the company's marketing plan.
• Improve processes to maintain a competitive edge in relevant industries.
• Foster and sustain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and professional experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Background in commercial finance, including structured financing, working capital, equipment financing, or insurance premium financing.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Highly driven and results-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while staying organized.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering professional, solutions-based sales via phone.
• Capability to perform under pressure to achieve sales objectives and deadlines.
• Experience with high call volumes and cold calling is advantageous.
• Familiarity with financial accounting principles and entries.
