This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the deputy to a program manager for the delivery of contracts.
β’ Oversee personnel in the project management office and/or regional, installation-level, or field staff.
β’ Assist in operational project planning and execution for a specific government contract.
β’ Set deadlines, allocate resources and responsibilities, and track project advancement.
β’ Create project status reports, dashboards, presentations, and high-level reports for senior, corporate, and government leadership.
β’ Offer operational support for reporting, completion of tasks, presentations, contract management, communications, and scheduling.
β’ Engage with process owners and stakeholders to determine project goals, objectives, success factors, and performance measures.
β’ Develop, implement, and revise project work plans.
β’ Oversee daily project operations and scope, including facilitating meetings and documenting outcomes.
β’ Evaluate team deliverables and prepare for project reviews and quality assurance processes.
β’ Analyze program data and metrics.
β’ Identify and address project risks, escalating any items that may be at risk.
β’ Maintain comprehensive, current, and properly stored project documentation.
β’ Keep project teams updated on organizational and corporate changes that may impact project scope.
β’ Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and escalate issues that require resolution.
β’ Deliver captivating, informative, and well-structured presentations.
β’ Conduct lessons learned sessions and enhance processes.
β’ Contribute to and uphold project management policies, guidelines, and best practices.
β’ Aid in resource management and the preparation of project financial materials.
β’ Engage in strategy and growth initiatives, including solution development, proposals, staffing estimates, and exploring new business opportunities.
β’ Execute other assigned responsibilities.
β’ A Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of military service, or a combination of education and professional experience.
β’ Demonstrated experience in overseeing and managing projects within military/government settings.
β’ Background in functional support roles and collaborative engagement with military/government personnel.
β’ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a DoD or VA health-related environment.
β’ Capacity to influence and inspire others to collaborate effectively.
β’ Exceptional writing, editing, analytical, and proofreading abilities.
β’ Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Ability to operate at all organizational levels, including Magellan, DoD, and military stakeholders.
β’ Skill in prioritizing and organizing multiple projects simultaneously.
β’ Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining critical and strategic thinking and consulting abilities.
β’ Proficient in presenting information and materials professionally on behalf of the U.S. government.
β’ Must be eligible for DoD security clearance and access to DoD systems if required by contract.
β’ Must be a U.S. citizen.
