Manager, US Field Inventory – Commercial Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage and implement Quality and Compliance initiatives within the US DePuy Synthes Commercial Quality Region.

• Support operational functions related to loaner and field inventory activities.

• Ensure adherence to Inter-Company Quality Agreements, legal contracts, and Quality Agreements.

• Oversee the management of audits and inspections, field actions, management reviews, purchasing controls, service delivery incidents, quarantines, holds, recalls, material and product controls, CAPA, storage, handling, distribution, returns, and disposal.

• Supervise cGMP, storage, handling, and distribution processes and systems.

• Direct quality investigations and collaborate with franchises, 3PLs, and other partners.

• Act as the primary contact for internal and external distribution-quality issues.

• Coordinate with Franchise Quality, Microbiological Quality, Sterility Assurance, and Commercial Quality partners.

• Develop, review, and authorize assessment plans, risk assessments, non-conformance reports, CAPAs, audits, and related documentation.

• Assist in the creation and modification of global and local procedures.

• Assess compliance risks, recommend corrective measures, and monitor progress.

• Represent Quality on project teams.

• Raise issues in accordance with policy and report regional metrics.

• Conduct interviews, hire, train, assign, direct, and evaluate staff; address complaints and resolve issues.

• Oversee or collaborate with employees on personal, skill, and career development.

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in a complex, matrixed organization.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Proven ability to manage critical audits.

• Strong project management skills are required.

• Capability to build consensus and guide individuals through transitions.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Skill in simplifying complex issues for clarity.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as in teams.

• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
