Manager – Trade Ops, Exports

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance and consultation to commercial clients regarding Export Finance, Export Payments, Document Verification, Letter of Credit Advising/Confirmation/Transfer, Collections, and Risk Participation.

• Advise and collaborate with the Product Development Team on Trade Finance activities aligned with International Standards and ICC Publications/OPM/APPM/Local Rules and Regulations.

• Ensure that all developed procedures adhere to Bank Policies and Guidelines.

• Address customer complaints promptly and take necessary actions to resolve them.

• Meet Management by Objectives (MBOs) in a timely manner.

• Conduct thorough due diligence when reviewing applications, especially for Priority Customers, high-value transactions, and requests for back-to-back or red clause letters of credit.

• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and processing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/OPMs, UCP/ISBP, relevant approved Product Programs, and charge-recovery protocols.

• Perform sanction checks on pertinent parties in documentation and examine checks related to Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML).

• Manage documents related to Commodity Trade Operations.

• Make certain that there are no unresolved reconciliation entries pending in Nostro or internal accounts on a daily basis.

• Facilitate cross-training for the entire team in at least two additional product areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate with a comprehensive understanding of Trade Finance products and functions.

• Certified in CDCS/CITF/CTFP.

• In-depth knowledge of Swift, Trade Finance, and Financial Operating Systems.

• General banking knowledge is essential.

• A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in Trade Finance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PPT).

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, possess excellent organizational skills, and be a cooperative team player.
