This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the implementation of Applied Intelligence Data Engineering (AIDE), the ETL and streaming data platform that supports analytics, personalization, and applied ML for Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
• Take charge of delivering high-visibility projects and act as the driving force behind AIDE's product roadmap.
• Manage the integration of products and onboarding of product lines onto AIDE's unified data platform from initial stages to production cutover.
• Establish the scope, milestones, sequencing, reporting, and dashboarding for senior executives and stakeholders.
• Utilize systems thinking and technical judgment to assess pipeline and infrastructure trade-offs.
• Shape outcomes among cross-functional stakeholders without having formal authority.
• Monitor dependencies across teams and align priorities across technology touchpoints.
• Recognize technical and delivery risks, including integration gaps, data quality regressions, ingestion reliability, and infrastructure capacity issues.
• Drive risk mitigation strategies with designated accountable owners.
• Lead root-cause analyses for complex blocking issues and escalate decisions with well-founded recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and adjacent product teams to synchronize milestones and guarantee delivery.
• Convert technical trade-offs into clear plans accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide executive-ready updates on status, risks, decisions, and trade-offs to both team and organizational management.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML-specific Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or a similar role focused on delivering complex, multi-team technical systems.
• Strong preference for experience in data platform or data engineering programs.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs in a matrixed environment with diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Capability to identify technical risks, manage interconnected workstreams, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
• Aptitude for thriving in ambiguity and establishing structure within a fast-paced, evolving platform integration landscape.
• Working knowledge of event pipelines and streaming message platforms.
• Familiarity with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Acquainted with containerized and cloud-native services.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code principles.
• Knowledge of automated testing, data quality, regression detection, anomaly detection, business intelligence, and dashboarding tools.
• Comfortable utilizing AI coding assistants and proficient in AI-assisted coding as part of daily tasks.
