Manager, Technical Product Management – Treasury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery for the Treasury team, managing Finance applications on SAP ECC/S4, Java, and SWIFT platforms.

• Establish the product vision, set priorities, and develop a multi-generation strategy for Treasury platforms.

• Identify and rank product features based on business value to enhance ROI.

• Define, align, and implement global technology strategies and solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance, automate, and streamline processes while optimizing total cost of ownership.

• Comprehend business needs and priorities, negotiate delivery scope, and manage backlogs according to capacity.

• Ensure that development work is executed accurately.

• Anticipate future business demands and secure necessary funding in business plans.

• Propel business process enhancements and change management initiatives.

• Define business drivers and requirements; supervise gap analysis, prototyping, test scripts, testing, and deployment.

• Monitor Treasury system development within the broader project portfolio.

• Prepare and present updates to Business and Technology Leadership as well as business partners.

• Establish and track Service Level Agreements.

• Lead medium- to large-scale projects and coordinate across Technology organizations.

• Mentor and guide peers, junior team members, co-ops, and consultants.

• Encourage knowledge sharing and the application of J&J Leadership Imperatives.

• Assess software, hardware, and services with vendors, ensuring adherence to J&J standards and policies.

• Safeguard information assets and ensure security is integrated into Technology plans and actions.

• Offer subject matter expertise to business partners, contractors, and J&J organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.

• Over 10 years of overall experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in implementing and maintaining Treasury solutions, including SAP and SWIFT.

• Experience with at least one full-cycle S/4 HANA Finance implementation.

• At least 2 years of people management experience with matrix-based project teams, internal resources, and contractors.

• Proven experience in managing complex global projects, processes, and systems.

• Familiarity with modern cloud-based application delivery, such as SaaS.

• Experience in business case/value case management.

• Practical project management skills with a disciplined approach.

• Experience in software validation within regulated environments.

• Working knowledge of core application development principles and SDLC methodology.

• Capability to lead a team throughout the entire system lifecycle from concept to production deployment.

• Hands-on experience supporting an application portfolio after launch.

• Proficient in explaining technologies to customers and conveying technical concepts in layman's terms.

• Familiarity with Agile/Agile Scrum methodology.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence.

• Practical understanding of design principles, user interfaces, and business process mapping.

• Ability to work independently and interact with senior business leaders.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills at all levels.

• Self-motivated with strong teamwork and customer service aptitude.

• High level of focus, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering quality solutions.

• Solid background in virtualization, networking, and related technologies.

• Experience in supporting global operations and adhering to enterprise process frameworks such as ITIL.

• Willingness to travel 5% of the time.
