Manager, Talent Acquisition – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create robust candidate pipelines and develop selection instruments for thorough and efficient hiring processes.

• Oversee talent acquisition operations and enhance associated systems and processes.

• Conduct searches to cultivate a strong team at Common Cause.

• Handle multiple searches concurrently.

• Collaborate with hiring managers, interviewers, team members, and other personnel.

• Oversee all communications with candidates.

• Sustain strategic connections between talent acquisition efforts and other team objectives.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Talent Management.

• Ability to juggle multiple short- and long-term priorities and deadlines while paying attention to detail, organization, and independent time management.

• Willingness to accept feedback and awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom.

• Experience managing searches from start to finish, including sourcing and nurturing prospects, candidate evaluation tools, and managing hiring relationships.

• Experience navigating applicant tracking systems, preferably Lever.

• Willingness to travel 4–6 times a year for team and/or all-staff retreats.

• Openness to maintaining a social media presence on behalf of Common Cause, including being tagged in posts and generating organizational content.

• Must not currently hold an elected office, run for office, serve on a political candidate’s Steering or Finance Committee, or be affiliated with political-party leadership.

• Must provide documentation authorizing work in the United States; Common Cause cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
