Manager – Strategy and Transformation Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Guide Baker Tilly and client resources in defining and delivering transformation projects, which include business process and technology implementations.

• Create, oversee, and evaluate project strategies and plans across the analyze, design, build, test, and deployment phases.

• Formulate long-term roadmaps for implementing large-scale solutions through a sequence of projects.

• Gather and articulate requirements through interviews, document reviews, workshops, surveys, and site visits.

• Manage and execute multiple projects by delegating tasks, coordinating efforts, maintaining communication, and ensuring organization.

• Organize project rollouts, including staffing, deadlines, and meeting end-user expectations.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of projects, which includes business cases, business requirements, and implementation plans.

• Oversee third-party vendor relationships for specific development necessities.

• Facilitate communication among executive committee members, stakeholders, and development teams.

• Identify potential project risks and issues, and take steps to mitigate them.

• Contribute to the development of the Enterprise Transformation practice, including go-to-market strategies, delivery methodology standards, and team growth.

• Offer functional expertise based on specific skills and background.

• Cultivate internal and external relationships with clients and the community.

• Foster team member and client development through the Baker Tilly Value Architect model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• A minimum of five (5) years of related experience.

• Previous experience in the industry and consulting is highly preferred.

• Proven experience managing senior-level client relationships and engaging with multiple stakeholders across organizations.

• Capacity to lead and supervise others while delivering exceptional client service.

• Ability to break down scope into detailed activities and deliverables, conducting work package handoffs effectively.

• Proficient in managing multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.

• Strong creative problem-solving skills acquired through prior experience, education, or training.

• Proven management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with full lifecycle application development, encompassing requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, and deployment.

• Familiarity with Agile software delivery management tools and techniques is a plus, including Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Project/program management or Agile certification is a plus, including PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe POPM.

• Willingness to travel as needed, potentially up to 100% depending on client requirements.

• Flexibility to work outside core business hours for client engagements.
