This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Act as the primary leader for insights and analytics concerning a designated portfolio of strategic clients and sales partners.
• Establish consultative relationships with stakeholders in Sales, Data Science, Product, and client organizations.
• Assist in business development, client retention, contract renewals, quarterly business assessments, and strategic planning efforts.
• Convert business challenges into analytical solutions that enhance client value and promote revenue growth.
• Spearhead the creation and presentation of executive-level insights, business assessments, and strategic recommendations.
• Discover opportunities to strengthen client relationships through innovative analytics and thought leadership.
• Provide guidance on digital incentive strategies, performance measurement, consumer behavior, and promotional effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to prioritize opportunities, address client needs, and stimulate account growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of insights professionals.
• Oversee workloads, project prioritization, staffing strategies, and resource allocation.
• Review and enhance team deliverables to ensure analytical rigor, quality of insights, and readiness for executive presentation.
• Establish best practices, processes, and quality benchmarks to enhance team efficiency and scalability.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning initiatives.
• Conduct complex analyses utilizing proprietary, retailer, consumer, and third-party data sources.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Create narratives that link analytics to business outcomes and strategic opportunities.
• Design and implement measurement frameworks, KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting methodologies.
• Enhance methodologies, automate processes, and develop innovative analytics offerings.
• Stay updated on retailer media networks, digital promotions, loyalty programs, industry trends, and new measurement practices.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant role, having worked directly or indirectly with a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or a Retailer.
• At least 6 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Previous experience at the Director level.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret large datasets into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with data manipulation tools (e.g., Looker, MicroStrategy, etc.).
• Proven track record in client leadership, including strategic needs assessment, consultative delivery, and relationship building that results in organic renewal and expansion.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, mentor, and coach teams to foster enduring customer relationships.
• Ability to serve as a leadership advisor to other managers and directors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capacity to take initiative and independently follow through on assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to actively listen, comprehend stakeholder needs, and provide clear, constructive guidance.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
