This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and sustain positive, long-term relationships with essential personnel at hospital-level clients.
• Implement initiatives from the IDN level to the hospital/account level.
• Propel innovative solutions and partnerships within targeted accounts and clients.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to enhance prospecting and facilitate the closure of opportunities.
• Assist in navigating VAC approval processes for new products and influence VAC members.
• Anticipate customer needs, market changes, and competitive challenges.
• Work with cross-functional teams on overarching strategy, marketing content development, and external tactics.
• Manage multiple priorities to support and advance business strategies.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key individuals in the cardiovascular interventional sector.
• Promote long-term strategic partnerships.
• Evaluate and measure the impact of KOL engagements and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Clearly convey Shockwave Medical’s clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing value proposition to key strategic accounts.
• Exhibit thorough product knowledge and engage clinically with physicians at a high level.
• Represent the company in a professional manner while upholding ethical and moral standards.
• Adhere to corporate compliance, FDA, medical device, quality, and ethics standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of sales experience as a territory manager in the medical device industry.
• Experience in the cardiovascular interventional space is preferred.
• Sales experience with catheter technology related to occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, or coronary sales experience with peripheral influence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the contracting process.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the VAC process.
• Strong understanding of sales applications and principles.
• Excellent influencing skills to advocate for the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong judgment and balanced decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to independently manage time and resources within assigned strategic accounts.
• Must not be disqualified by the FDA from working in any Medical Device business.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Up to 50% domestic travel may be necessary.
• Must be capable of functioning as part of a team and/or independently while demonstrating adaptability to changing requirements.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day).
