This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Establish and nurture positive, long-lasting relationships with key hospital-level clients.
• Implement initiatives from the IDN level to the hospital/account level.
• Propel innovative solutions and collaborations within targeted accounts and clientele.
• Partner with sales leaders and teams to enhance prospects and facilitate opportunity closures.
• Navigate the VAC approval processes for new products and influence VAC members effectively.
• Anticipate customer needs, market developments, and competitive challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategy, marketing content development, and external tactics.
• Manage various priorities to further business strategies.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with influential cardiovascular interventional professionals and develop strategic partnerships.
• Evaluate and communicate the impact of KOL engagement to cross-functional teams.
• Clearly articulate Shockwave Medical’s value proposition related to clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing to strategic accounts.
• Exhibit comprehensive product knowledge and engage clinically with physicians.
• Represent the company professionally while upholding ethical and moral standards.
• Adhere to corporate, FDA, medical device, quality, and ethical standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 5 years of sales experience as a territory manager in medical devices; experience in the cardiovascular interventional field is preferred.
• Proven sales experience in catheter technology related to occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, or coronary sales; experience with peripheral influence is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the contracting process and thorough understanding of the VAC process.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles.
• Strong influencing skills to represent the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment and balanced decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to independently manage time and resources within assigned strategic accounts.
• Must not be debarred by FDA from working in any Medical Device sector.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Up to 50% domestic travel is necessary.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and/or independently while adapting to changing requirements.
• Must be able to tolerate continuous sitting for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday).
• Commission-based role.
• Up to 50% domestic travel required.
