This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture positive, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at hospital-level clients.

• Implement initiatives from IDN level down to the hospital/account level.

• Propel innovative solutions and partnerships within designated accounts and customers.

• Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to enhance prospecting and facilitate the closure of opportunities.

• Assist in navigating VAC approval processes for new products and influence VAC members.

• Anticipate customer needs, shifts in the marketplace, and competitive challenges.

• Partner with cross-functional teams on overall strategy, marketing content development, and external tactics.

• Manage multiple priorities to support and advance business strategies effectively.

• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key individuals in the cardiovascular interventional field.

• Evaluate and assess the impact of KOL engagement and communicate results to cross-functional teams.

• Clearly articulate Shockwave Medical’s clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing value propositions to strategic accounts.

• Exhibit comprehensive product knowledge and engage clinically with physicians.

• Represent the company in a professional manner while adhering to ethical and moral standards.

• Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, FDA regulations, medical device standards, quality, and ethical practices.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

• At least 5 years of sales experience as a territory manager in medical devices; experience in the cardiovascular interventional field is preferred.

• Proven sales experience in catheter technology relating to occlusive vascular disease, endovascular procedures, atherectomy, stent, or coronary sales, with peripheral influence preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with the contracting process and comprehensive knowledge of the VAC process.

• Solid understanding of sales applications and principles.

• Strong influencing abilities to represent the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent judgment and balanced decision-making capabilities.

• Ability to autonomously manage time and resources within designated strategic accounts.

• Must not be debarred by the FDA from working in any medical device capacity.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and/or independently, demonstrating adaptability to changing requirements.

• Capability to sit for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday).
