This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with key personnel at hospital-level clients.
• Implement initiatives derived from the IDN strategy at the hospital/account level.
• Propel innovative solutions and forge partnerships within targeted accounts.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to enhance prospecting and secure opportunities.
• Navigate the VAC approval processes for new products and influence VAC members effectively.
• Anticipate customer requirements, market changes, and competitive challenges.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, marketing content development, and external tactics.
• Manage various priorities to further business strategies.
• Engage and cultivate relationships with influential figures in the cardiovascular interventional sector to establish strategic partnerships.
• Evaluate and quantify KOL engagement impact and relay findings to cross-functional teams.
• Clearly communicate Shockwave Medical’s clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing value propositions to strategic accounts.
• Exhibit comprehensive product knowledge and engage in clinical discussions with physicians.
• Represent the company with professionalism while upholding ethical and moral standards.
• Adhere to corporate, FDA, medical device, quality, and ethical standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience as a territory manager in the medical device industry.
• Sales experience in catheter technology related to occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, or coronary sales is essential.
• Familiarity with the contracting process and in-depth understanding of the VAC process.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles.
• Strong influencing capabilities.
• Excellent judgment and balanced decision-making skills.
• Ability to independently manage time and resources within assigned strategic accounts.
• Must not have been debarred by the FDA for any work in the Medical Device sector.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
• Up to 50% domestic travel is mandatory.
• Ability to operate effectively as part of a team or independently, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
• Capability to endure continuous sitting for extended periods.
• Commission-based position.
