This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Establish and nurture positive, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at hospital-level clients.
• Implement initiatives from the IDN level down to the hospital/account level.
• Foster innovative solutions and partnerships within targeted accounts and customers.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to enhance prospecting efforts and drive opportunity closures.
• Assist in navigating the VAC approval process for new products while influencing VAC members.
• Anticipate customer demands, market changes, and competitive challenges.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams on overarching strategies, marketing content development, and external tactics.
• Manage various priorities to support and propel business strategies forward.
• Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with influential figures in the cardiovascular interventional field.
• Measure and evaluate the effects of KOL engagements and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Clearly convey Shockwave Medical’s clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing value propositions to key strategic accounts.
• Exhibit comprehensive product knowledge and engage in high-level clinical discussions with physicians.
• Represent the organization with professionalism while adhering to ethical and moral standards.
• Abide by corporate compliance, FDA regulations, medical device standards, quality benchmarks, and ethical guidelines.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities as needed.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of sales experience as a territory manager in the medical device sector.
• Proven sales experience in catheter technology addressing occlusive vascular disease, endovascular procedures, atherectomy, stents, or coronary sales experience with peripheral influence preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the contracting process and extensive knowledge of the VAC process.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales applications and principles.
• Strong influencing skills to advocate for the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Sound judgment and balanced decision-making abilities.
• Ability to independently manage time and resources within designated strategic accounts.
• Must not be debarred by the FDA for work in any Medical Device business.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Up to 50% domestic travel is necessary.
• Capability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently while adapting to changing requirements.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday).
