This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Cultivate and sustain positive, long-lasting relationships with key personnel at hospital-level clients.
• Implement initiatives from the Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) level to the hospital/account level.
• Foster innovative solutions and partnerships within targeted accounts and customer bases.
• Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to enhance prospecting efforts and facilitate opportunity closure.
• Navigate the VAC approval processes for new products and influence VAC members effectively.
• Anticipate customer requirements, market changes, and competitive challenges.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams on strategy formulation, marketing content development, and external tactics.
• Manage various priorities to support and further business strategies.
• Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the cardiovascular interventional field.
• Evaluate and quantify KOL engagement impact and communicate outcomes to cross-functional teams.
• Clearly articulate Shockwave Medical’s comprehensive value proposition, encompassing clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing aspects.
• Exhibit extensive product knowledge and communicate clinically with physicians.
• Uphold company standards reflecting ethical and moral integrity while representing the organization.
• Adhere to corporate compliance, FDA regulations, medical device standards, quality benchmarks, and ethical practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience as a territory manager in the medical device sector.
• Proven sales experience in catheter technology related to occlusive vascular disease, endovascular procedures, atherectomy, stenting, or coronary sales with peripheral influence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the contracting process and comprehensive knowledge of the VAC process.
• In-depth understanding of sales applications and principles.
• Strong influencing capabilities to advocate for the interests of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment and balanced decision-making skills.
• Ability to autonomously manage time and resources within designated strategic accounts.
• Must not be disqualified by the FDA from working in any medical device capacity.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Up to 50% domestic travel may be necessary.
• Ability to function as part of a team and/or independently, demonstrating adaptability to changing requirements.
• Ability to sit for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday).
