Manager, Specialty Therapy – Rehabilitation Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the clinical services of Specialty Therapy and Rehabilitation Services (STRS), which includes management and promotion of these services.

• Supervise clinical services, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures as well as daily operational efficiency.

• Direct provider outreach and training initiatives both prior to and following implementation.

• Guarantee compliance with initial and ongoing reviews, referrals, and authorization protocols, procedures, and processes.

• Ensure that programs and clinical operations align with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA standards.

• Confirm that payer contract clinical requirements are fulfilled.

• Evaluate current procedures and outreach/intervention initiatives, ensuring adherence to state guidelines for physical, occupational, speech, and home health practices.

• Analyze data, track trends, and propose quality improvement initiatives, addressing provider concerns, service deficiencies, and member requirements.

• Ensure precise and prompt reporting to health plan partners regarding authorizations, denials, appeals, provider outreach, call center metrics, and utilization trends, including analytics and interventions.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Clinical experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is highly preferred.

• A Master’s degree in Speech, Occupational, or Physical Therapy, or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 5 years of experience in specialty therapy or rehabilitation services.

• Comprehensive knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as case and/or utilization management, including review protocols and educational services.

• Current certification/licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Therapy in the state of practice.

• Supervisory experience is preferred.
