This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a sizable configuration team that handles high-volume, technically intricate projects for various partner implementations.
• Develop and sustain a capacity model to project team workload and pinpoint instances of over-allocation.
• Distribute and balance tasks according to skill level, complexity, and partner priorities.
• Onboard new team members following a structured training plan.
• Establish performance standards, hold regular one-on-one meetings, and communicate team gaps and developmental needs to leadership.
• Manage configuration timelines and deadlines for ongoing implementations.
• Recognize delays, dependencies, and risks; mitigate them and escalate with suggested solutions.
• Monitor and report on cycle time, throughput, rework, and completion metrics.
• Collaborate with Implementation Managers, Engineering, and Product teams to schedule work and eliminate obstacles.
• Define, document, and enhance configuration processes, encompassing intake, prioritization, peer review, validation, and handoff.
• Standardize repeatable tasks through the use of templates, checklists, and automation.
• Facilitate retrospectives and translate insights into documented process enhancements.
• Create clear and accurate reports for leadership.
• Foster stakeholder trust through precise status updates and dependable delivery.
• Serve as an expert user of Jira and Confluence, including workflows, custom fields, automation rules, JQL, filters, dashboards, and space configuration.
• Define and uphold Jira ticketing standards.
• Maintain Confluence as the team's central repository, featuring process guides, runbooks, standards, decision logs, and onboarding resources.
• BS/BA in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical project management, delivery management, or technical operations, including at least 3 years leading a team of 10 or more individuals.
• Expert-level proficiency in Jira and Confluence administration, encompassing workflows, automation, JQL, dashboards, and space configuration.
• Proven experience managing a distributed team across various time zones.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to create clear status reports for senior leadership.
• Availability to work hours that coincide with U.S. Eastern Time and to engage in hands-on work alongside the team when necessary.
• Familiarity with Online Banking platforms, Loan Origination Systems, or consumer lending and deposit products.
• Experience collaborating with credit unions, banks, or fintech partners during implementation or onboarding processes.
