This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to ascertain customer needs and devise solutions that fulfill those requirements.
• Offer technical knowledge and support throughout the sales cycle, including facilitating product demonstrations and presentations.
• Prepare technical proposals and address requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Work in conjunction with the product and engineering teams to provide insights and feedback relevant to the product roadmap.
• Cultivate and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and solutions while staying informed about the latest trends and technologies in the security sector.
• Partner with the marketing team to create technical marketing collateral, such as whitepapers and solution briefs, that bolster our sales initiatives.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry specialists.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
• A background in sales engineering or over 5 years of pertinent work experience.
• Familiarity with endpoint or network security domains, including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, and HIPS/IDS.
• A solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex security issues to diverse audiences.
• A proactive self-starter capable of working independently.
• Capable of collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should act as the technical liaison between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to address a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives.
• Extensive connections within the information security sector and strong references.
• A solid grasp of the MEDDIC-based sales process and the ability to effectively convey technical solutions to customers and prospects.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and achieve business outcomes.
