This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Oversee, coach, and supervise all elements of the RFP project management process, ensuring bids are completed and delivered on time.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing proposal management team, promoting employee development, engagement, and ongoing improvement.
• Manage RFP, RFI, and DDQ processes, focusing on content management, governance, quality assurance, and workflow oversight.
• Conduct Management Review of proposals prior to Corporate Review to ensure quality assurance, compliance with company policies, adherence to approved pricing strategies and bid solicitation requirements, and alignment with the proposed sales strategy.
• Leverage proposal technologies, content platforms, automation, and AI to enhance quality and scalability.
• Maintain the integrity of data stored within the proposal content database.
• Implement and continuously refine processes, procedures, and workflows to optimize the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of proposal materials.
• Support and enhance team processes, tools, and workflow efficiency.
• Act as a tactical and operational resource for sales teams throughout the proposal development phase.
• Collaborate with other divisions to ensure the creation of accurate and high-quality proposal materials.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• 7-10 years of experience in managing the complete lifecycle of the RFP response process in the financial services sector.
• 2-5 years of experience in people leadership, supervisory roles, or team management.
• Understanding of proposal operations, workflow management, resource allocation, and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with proposal management processes, tools, workflow effectiveness, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of RFP, RFI, and DDQ response processes, as well as content management, governance, and proposal review practices.
• Proficiency in managing proposal operations, prioritizing workflows, and ensuring timely completion and delivery of bids.
• Ability to allocate resources and coordinate proposal development activities to produce accurate, high-quality materials.
• Expertise in quality assurance, content governance, proposal review, and compliance with bid solicitation requirements.
• Capability to implement and continuously enhance processes, procedures, and workflows for maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
• Experience in monitoring team performance, managing work outcomes, and promoting employee growth and engagement.
• Competence in leading proposal development efforts and ensuring the delivery of accurate, high-quality, compliant proposal responses.
• Ability to make moderately complex operational decisions utilizing sound judgment, initiative, and established business priorities.
• Skill in leading and developing a high-performing proposal management team while encouraging employee growth, engagement, and ongoing improvement.
• Capacity to identify and implement process improvements that enhance workflow effectiveness, operational efficiency, and the quality of proposal materials.
• Proficiency in executing proposal strategies, priorities, and business objectives as defined by leadership.
