Manager, Revenue Cycle – EPIC Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Lead essential components of billing operations

• Oversee smaller teams tasked with daily operational duties

• Cultivate a team dedicated to electronic eligibility responses, prompt claims billing, precise payment posting, and enhanced insurance follow-up

• Develop process documentation to facilitate efficient, accurate, and compliant billing workflows

• Work alongside business leadership to ensure consistent billing guidance

• Enhance the clean claim rate

• Track KPIs and report on discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of professional experience in healthcare management leading a team of individual contributors

• Experience in managing projects and processes that require complex solutions within both short- and long-term timelines

• Background in collaborating with legal and compliance partners to uphold appropriate billing and coding standards

• Foundational experience as a business analyst, report writer, project manager, or a similar role

• Capability to monitor KPIs and report on discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for process enhancement

• Preferred experience with Epic Professional Billing (PB Resolute)

• Preferred experience with Epic PB reporting, including Slicer Dicer and Workbench Reporting

• AAPC certification (CPB, CPC, or CRC) is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), is preferred

• Ability to analyze and interpret status and outcome reports to deliver actionable insights to senior leadership is preferred

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
