Manager, Prospect Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive research on individuals and foundations utilizing internal constituent data and various external research tools.

• Assess research results and provide recommendations to guide front-line fundraisers' solicitation strategies.

• Offer strategic insights and oversee fundraising activities to ensure adherence to processes.

• Cultivate strong relationships with prospect development and assigned fundraising teams.

• Manage a balanced portfolio within an assigned team.

• Collaborate with Philanthropy Operations to maintain data integrity for major gift prospects.

• Collect and analyze information on priority constituents to uncover new opportunities and align donor interests with ACS programs and mission.

• Confirm gift capacity and biographical information.

• Assist in gathering updated contact details for high-priority prospects.

• Participate in professional development to stay updated on best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in prospect research or a related field.

• Proven proficiency in prospect research technologies and data tools.

• Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce is preferred.

• Capability to interpret complex information from IRS filings, SEC records, property data, biographical information, and charitable giving databases.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, confidential, and highly sensitive environment.

• Commitment to uphold APRA Advance Prospect Research standards and the Code of Ethics.

• Minimal travel required.
