Manager, Professional Services – ONESOURCE, Foreign Trade

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify and pursue opportunities while collaborating with customers and internal teams that support global enterprises.

• Guide a team of consultants to foster professional development and ensure successful client service delivery.

• Collaborate closely with PS Managers and team members to implement best-practice solutions.

• Work alongside Sales to boost sales revenue and promote professional services upsells.

• Engage with Global Trade, Compliance, Tax, and Technology professionals at Fortune 500 companies.

• Manage a team of 10 PS consultants, supporting their professional growth.

• Conduct business and requirements sessions, creating design and solution documentation for high-stakes, complex projects.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to provide comprehensive solutions.

• Ensure smooth implementation processes and monitor progress towards timely completion.

• Foster positive client relationships and address project escalation matters.

• Act as the lead on significant, complex projects when necessary.

• Serve as the PS representative in commercial discussions with Sales and draft SOWs.

• Generate $1M in upsells, support over $1.5M in sales, and contribute to more than $1.5M in revenue.

• Facilitate and streamline the work of Global Trade, Compliance, and Tax professionals within organizations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information professionally and succinctly.

• Proven ability to effectively lead a team and encourage engagement.

• Experience in partnering with Sales to drive commercial discussions.

• Capability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Self-motivated and proactive in approach.

• Proficient in using computers and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a drive for innovation.

• Comfort working in a diverse environment.

• Preferred: Higher Education Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business, or Computer Science.

• Preferred: 7+ years of relevant work experience.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Global Trade or Supply Chain Businesses, Indirect Tax, Compliance, and/or Tax Return processes.

• Preferred: Experience with commercial discussions.

• Preferred: Leadership or mentorship experience and responsibilities.

• Preferred: Experience in process analysis, design, and mapping.

• Preferred: Experience in implementing enterprise software, including cloud solutions and third-party applications.

• Willingness to travel 20% as needed for client visits, offsite training, industry events, and implementations.
