This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Spearhead the development and implementation of customer-centric education and practice enhancement initiatives that drive J&J Surgical Vision's growth across North America.
β’ Create practice development programs aimed at boosting business performance, premium conversions, patient engagement, and overall practice efficiency.
β’ Collaborate with commercial and corporate account teams to pinpoint customer opportunities and present strategic solutions.
β’ Provide guidance to eye care professionals and practice stakeholders on best practices, business insights, and educational experiences.
β’ Conduct in-person, virtual, and hybrid educational programs.
β’ Design and execute scalable educational solutions that support portfolio adoption and adapt to evolving customer needs.
β’ Facilitate learning experiences that enhance clinical and business outcomes.
β’ Lead peer-to-peer educational initiatives targeting ophthalmologists, optometrists, practice administrators, technicians, and clinic staff.
β’ Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, faculty members, and industry experts.
β’ Create customer success stories and best practices.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Sales Training, and Corporate Accounts to develop educational resources and tools.
β’ Ensure that all content aligns with business strategies, customer needs, and compliance standards.
β’ Support regional meetings, national sales meetings, industry congresses, professional education events, and customer programs as a subject matter expert.
β’ Equip field teams with necessary resources, tools, and insights.
β’ Establish metrics and feedback systems to assess program effectiveness and business impact.
β’ Analyze data and customer insights for ongoing improvement.
β’ Monitor trends in the ophthalmology and optometry markets, including emerging technologies and customer needs.
β’ Support product launches, market development, and innovation initiatives through education and customer engagement.
β’ A minimum of a bachelorβs degree is required.
β’ At least 6+ years of experience in ophthalmology, optometry, eye care, medical devices, or a related healthcare setting.
β’ Extensive knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostics, biometry, patient flow, refractive cataract surgery, and practice operations.
β’ Proven ability to develop and deliver educational programs for healthcare professionals.
β’ Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
β’ Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
β’ Experience in live, virtual, and hybrid educational environments.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 60% across the United States and Canada.
β’ Preferred expertise in practice management, premium conversion strategies, and customer business optimization.
β’ Experience supporting commercial organizations within the Medical Device, Vision Care, or Ophthalmology sectors is preferred.
β’ Background as a faculty member, speaker, trainer, or in professional education is preferred.
β’ Experience in developing educational content, digital learning resources, and customer engagement programs is preferred.
β’ Advanced ophthalmic certifications or additional clinical credentials are preferred.
