This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +10 more states.
• Manage the complete payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all relevant states.
• Oversee the payroll calendar, including tax submissions, garnishments, and off-cycle payroll runs.
• Act as the primary contact for resolving payroll discrepancies and conducting audits.
• Administer and sustain the core HRIS platform (e.g., HiBob), focusing on workflows, permissions, and data accuracy.
• Oversee performance and engagement tools (e.g., Lattice) for managing goals, reviews, and feedback cycles.
• Coordinate system integrations spanning HRIS, performance, payroll, benefits, and other related tools.
• Lead the implementation of configuration changes, new module introductions, and system upgrades.
• Develop and uphold automated workflows to minimize manual HR administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with People team leaders to align process requirements with system design.
• Ensure the integrity of HR data, reporting, and readiness for audits across various systems.
• Confirm that payroll and HRIS operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide dashboards and reports that facilitate workforce planning and achievement of OKRs.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing payroll and HRIS/HCM systems.
• Background as an HR Generalist or HRBP with extensive knowledge of the employee lifecycle.
• Proven experience working directly with clients in consulting, professional services, PEOs, or agencies.
• Required hands-on experience as an administrator for a core HRIS platform (e.g., HiBob).
• Required hands-on experience as an administrator for a performance/engagement platform (e.g., Lattice).
• Strongly preferred certifications in HRIS and/or performance platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of multi-state payroll compliance, tax regulations, and wage/hour laws.
• Strong systems thinking skills with a capacity to independently troubleshoot integrations.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and advisory capabilities.
