Manager, Patient Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Supervise all operations within the Patient Revenue department

• Act as a team member aligned with the vision, values, and expectations of Duke University Health System

• Provide leadership for the division

• Foster a patient-focused and customer service-oriented environment

• Create the division's operating budget and set goals

• Oversee the financial, service, and productivity performance of the division

• Review, analyze, and manage reports and related documentation

• Ensure collaboration with other departmental areas

• Establish operational policies, procedures, standards, and expectations

• Offer opportunities to meet or surpass balanced scorecard objectives

• Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports

• Guide and mentor direct reports and staff

• Engage in community and agency events

• Perform additional duties related to the described work

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business or other relevant fields

• A master’s degree in a related discipline, such as business or health administration, may replace experience on a one-to-one basis

• Preferred certifications in patient access or patient accounting

• Capability to provide leadership for the division

• Ability to promote and embody a patient-centered and customer service focus

• Skill in developing operating budgets and setting goals

• Competence in managing financial, service, and productivity performance

• Proficiency in monitoring, analyzing, and managing reports and related documents

• Expertise in formulating operational policies, procedures, standards, and expectations

• Ability to conduct performance reviews and mentor staff
