This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Develop and sustain the strategy and roadmap for the OT network infrastructure.
• Oversee OT network infrastructure projects from the planning stage to deployment.
• Set standards for industrial networking and connectivity.
• Manage budgets for OT network infrastructure and maintain vendor relationships.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the technical staff within the OT network.
• Design, implement, and support industrial Ethernet networks.
• Maintain solutions for manufacturing LAN, wireless, and remote connectivity.
• Ensure dependable communication among PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, MES platforms, historians, edge computing platforms, smart sensors, and IIoT devices.
• Assist with Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Implement infrastructure for smart manufacturing solutions.
• Facilitate machine-to-machine communications.
• Support deployments of IoT and Industrial IoT technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on automation projects.
• Safeguard OT environments in collaboration with the cybersecurity team.
• Ensure secure architecture and OT network segmentation.
• Support adherence to OT security frameworks.
• Coordinate activities for vulnerability remediation.
• Participate in activities related to OT incident response.
• Develop capabilities for monitoring and alerting the OT infrastructure.
• Establish service level objectives for manufacturing systems.
• Lead investigations into root causes and conduct incident reviews.
• Maintain procedures for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Implement processes for asset lifecycle management.
• Act as the primary liaison between IT, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Controls, Maintenance, and Cybersecurity teams.
• 7+ years of experience in supporting infrastructure, networking, or OT environments.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or management position.
• Background in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in supporting industrial control systems.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Ethernet.
• Proficient in Cisco or Fortinet networking.
• In-depth understanding of VLANs and routing.
• Strong grasp of wireless technologies.
• Solid understanding of industrial switches.
• Familiarity with PLC communications.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Comprehension of MES platforms.
• Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with network monitoring tools.
• Familiar with remote access technologies.
• Preferred: Experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Preferred: Involvement with smart factory initiatives.
• Preferred: Experience in OT cybersecurity programs.
• Preferred: Fortinet certifications.
• Preferred: Cisco certifications.
• Preferred: Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 standards.
• Preferred: Experience in industrial automation.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Ignition SCADA.
