This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Direct targeted recruitment initiatives and implement retention strategies for general dental practitioners and specialty care provider networks.
• Manage provider network retention efforts to guarantee long-term stability and engagement.
• Review and oversee provider contract documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with regional fee schedules.
• Assess fee increase requests and present justified recommendations to Executive Leadership.
• Investigate market trends and competitor compensation frameworks to create and sustain competitive provider fee schedules.
• Establish internal controls and supervise fee schedule addenda for designated territories.
• Oversee provider service initiatives and ensure deadlines are met promptly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with providers.
• Coordinate network recruitment outreach with Provider Relations Operations staff, including mailings, fax blasts, and notifications.
• Develop performance standards for staff and monitor productivity levels.
• Recruit and train personnel, conduct interviews, schedule training sessions, and prepare instructional materials.
• Handle employment-related matters with PR executive staff and Liberty's People Team, including performance-related disciplinary actions.
• Prepare and present internal and external reports on recruitment and service initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments such as Claims, Quality Management, and Member Services to address provider-related challenges.
• Participate in Utilization Review Committees and other relevant committees.
• Develop and enhance processes, policies, and procedures to optimize network operations.
• Conduct weekly meetings with direct reports.
• Provide strategic insights and performance updates to the PR executive team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by executive leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in dental and/or healthcare network management, provider relations, or a related field, including prior leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience in managing provider relationships and enhancing network performance.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching skills with a collaborative management style.
• Analytical abilities for reporting and trend analysis.
• Understanding of healthcare delivery systems, provider payment methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Familiarity with dental terminology is preferred.
• Knowledge of government dental programs (Medicaid/Medicare).
• Experience in negotiating provider fee schedules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently while meeting organizational goals.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
• Capable of presenting to diverse audiences and negotiating effectively.
• Ability to analyze issues, gather pertinent data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Experience in conducting thorough research and ensuring resolution of issues.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must reside and work in the United States; Liberty is unable to hire or allow employees to work outside the United States.
