This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary insights Business Partner for designated operating functions, shaping research agendas and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Provide guidance to functional leadership, translating insights into strategic recommendations.
• Lead impactful research initiatives, overseeing research design, synthesis, and executive storytelling.
• Represent stakeholder needs within the larger insights function and ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.
• Directly manage and mentor insights analysts through performance management, coaching, and career development.
• Lead a matrixed team with both direct and dotted-line relationships.
• Offer daily direction, quality oversight, and assistance to analysts on assigned tasks.
• Clarify roles, expectations, and accountability within reporting relationships.
• Prioritize and allocate analyst resources among competing portfolio needs.
• Balance direct portfolio ownership with shared-service support responsibilities.
• Collaborate with Business Partners and the Research Operations Lead to optimize analyst utilization, workflows, tools, and processes.
• Oversee and guide the research design, execution, and analysis for assigned operating functions.
• Review research outputs for consistency, accuracy, methodological rigor, and strategic relevance.
• Ensure accountability for the quality and impact of insights provided by the team.
• Bachelor’s degree in market research, business, marketing, psychology, statistics, economics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or strategic consulting.
• Proven experience leading complex research projects and delivering insights that impact business outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with senior leadership and managing high-stakes projects.
• Background in leading and developing insights analysts in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and advanced analytical techniques.
• Advanced experience in identifying research objectives, planning methodologies, and enhancing data reliability.
• Proficient in presenting market research analysis to executive audiences.
• Strategic understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
• Proven ability to develop actionable strategies that drive business impact.
• Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
• Proficient in data analysis software such as SPSS, R, or Python.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex findings clearly and persuasively.
• Ability to influence stakeholders through storytelling and evidence-based recommendations.
• Capability to manage and influence team members across direct and dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Ability to balance hands-on Business Partner responsibilities with team leadership and oversight.
• Strong project management skills with the capability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• High attention to detail, ensuring the quality and accuracy of research deliverables.
• In-depth knowledge of data collection and measurement methodologies.
• Experience in complex quantitative survey design and qualitative discussion guide development is required.
• Proficiency in PMI’s business language: English.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
