This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the research and analysis of competitors, dealer programs, pricing structures, products, technologies, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.
• Track market trends, industry advancements, regulatory shifts, and emerging competitive risks and opportunities.
• Assess competitor strengths, weaknesses, and potential business impacts.
• Convert complex research into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on competitive and market intelligence.
• Provide insights that support Sales strategy, strategic planning, growth initiatives, and decision-making for leadership.
• Assist in market assessments, business reviews, strategic planning, and ad hoc business priorities.
• Create and deliver executive-level briefings, presentations, and recommendations.
• Manage competitor profiles, battlecards, competitive assessments, differentiation frameworks, and associated resources.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Sales Enablement on positioning and competitive response strategies.
• Establish processes for collecting, validating, organizing, and sharing competitive intelligence.
• Maintain databases of competitors, research repositories, dashboards, and recurring intelligence reports.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and business value of intelligence outputs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the Competitive Intelligence team.
• Define priorities, performance expectations, and quality standards.
• Promote analytical rigor, curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal guidelines; carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in Competitive Intelligence, Market Research, Business Strategy, Product Marketing, Business Analytics, Sales Strategy, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading team members, programs, or complex analytical projects.
• Strong skills in research, analytical thinking, critical analysis, communication, and presentation.
• Ability to translate complex information into actionable business recommendations and influence stakeholders across various functions.
• Required degrees must be obtained from institutions of Higher Education accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or an equivalent body.
• Must not require employment sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, including H-1B, H-4, or F-1 OPT visa holders.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting Sales or go-to-market organizations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with competitive intelligence, market research, or analytics platforms and tools.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting strategic planning and executive decision-making.
• Preferred: Background in automotive finance, financial services, fintech, or related industries.
