This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and execute payer marketing strategies to enhance reimbursement and facilitate new product launches.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Management, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Regulatory teams.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify the needs, trends, and opportunities of payers.
• Create and present value propositions, messaging, and marketing materials specifically designed for payer audiences.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
• Monitor and assess payer marketing initiatives and modify strategies as necessary.
• Stay updated on healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Participate in strategic and financial planning processes.
• Understand competitive offerings and provide positioning and tools to profitably differentiate products.
• Manage communications with consultants, research firms, advertising agencies, vendors, and customers.
• Utilize market research and customer feedback to meet reimbursement and market access objectives.
• Accomplish the goals and objectives of the Market Access organization.
• Ensure adherence to Quality System and Ethics/Compliance guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• MBA is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, or equivalent experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of payer and reimbursement market dynamics, including commercialization, pricing, and reimbursement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and agencies to execute successful marketing campaigns.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the capacity to translate data into strategy.
• Previous experience in marketing or managed care marketing.
• Strong project management abilities, including independently driving projects, setting budgets, and meeting deadlines.
• Capability to collaborate, influence, and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines under business constraints.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to craft and present compelling narratives.
• Proven success in collaboratively designing and executing solutions for complex challenges is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Must ensure compliance with Quality System and Ethics/Compliance guidelines.
• Willingness to travel frequently; travel is expected to be 50% of the time.
