Manager, Market Access, Patient Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all elements of creating and managing the patient hub for a new product introduction.

• Establish key performance indicators to assess the success of the launch for Abbott’s Dual Glucose and Ketone Monitoring device.

• Collaborate with the Senior Director to guarantee launch preparedness and updates throughout the product lifecycle.

• Implement controlled change management processes, including updates to procedures/SOPs, training, communications, and readiness tracking.

• Formulate and manage the strategic direction.

• Work collaboratively across various departments including market access, finance, legal, trade, marketing, and global strategic teams.

• Oversee vendor relationships.

• Facilitate the integration of the patient hub within the Abbott Diabetes Care division.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical patient services, patient access operations, hub operations, market access, or similar roles.

• At least 3 years of experience in leading vendor performance and/or operational teams.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing patient support programs, operational service models, business rules, SOPs, and training within a regulated environment.

• Strong skills in program and project management, including readiness for launch and executing lifecycle changes.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Capability to influence within a highly matrixed organization.

• Analytical skills to interpret operational data, extract insights, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience with case management/CRM platforms and business intelligence tools.

• Willingness to travel frequently to Alameda, CA.
