This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Coordinate and assign tasks for designated IT teams engaged in systems programming.
• Supervise daily operations in accordance with Global Leader responsibilities and tasks.
• Manage ongoing project oversight and status updates.
• Offer strategic direction within the designated tower and Business Unit.
• Provide technical assistance for software solutions.
• Lead Team Leaders and allocate resources effectively.
• Engage in client, team, and Business Unit meetings, and prepare documentation for client operational discussions.
• Mentor and support team members to improve their performance.
• Stay informed about developments in standards, technologies, and methodologies.
• Administer and refresh weekly project management documents.
• Oversee the team’s ticket queue and monitor aging tickets.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage risk effectively.
• Lead quarterly performance reviews.
• Establish quarterly and yearly objectives that align with the Business Unit and company goals.
• Review tasks for precision and quality assurance.
• Assign responsibilities as necessary.
• Collaborate with various departments.
• Develop, evaluate, and ensure the achievement of personnel, departmental, and organizational goals.
• Participate in and respond promptly to both internal and external audits.
• Assist in onboarding new clients.
• Take ownership of team performance and career development, including regular one-on-one meetings.
• Provide mentoring in both technical and soft skills, project management, quality audits, training coordination, and daily team supervision.
• 10 years of experience in Mainframe Systems Programming.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in an IT Operations environment, accompanied by a bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant work experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of managerial experience in a related domain.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in effectively coordinating and leading internal resources to achieve key objectives.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering clear and organized presentations.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with a talent for building relationships across various organizational levels.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with a quick learning aptitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, covering Incident, Request, Change, and Problem ticket workflows.
