πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take ownership and drive the global strategic vision for the account, which includes formulating business plans and actionable steps to achieve program growth, retention, and client satisfaction.

β€’ Build and nurture executive-level relationships across various business units and regions, engaging with stakeholders in Payment Operations, Finance, Disputes, Product, and Technology.

β€’ Partner with internal teams across Product, Risk, Servicing, Technology, Legal, TLS, and Strategic Partnerships to deliver customized solutions and operational excellence.

β€’ Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the client's industry, platform model, organizational objectives, and shifting priorities, particularly in the realms of travel, digital commerce, and corporate travel agencies.

β€’ Design and facilitate regular business reviews to communicate performance, insights, and opportunities.

β€’ Consult with clients using a value-focused approach, articulating the Global Corporate Payments value proposition and quantifying business impact.

β€’ Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities within B2B Payment Solutions, Virtual Payments, and T&E card products.

β€’ Meet portfolio growth and retention objectives.

β€’ Act as the escalation point for issues and resolutions, employing structured action plans and project management tools.

β€’ Analyze client financial performance and P&Ls to propose strategies for enhancing profitability, optimizing working capital, and improving efficiency.

β€’ Ensure that contractual obligations, SLAs, and service expectations are met or surpassed.

β€’ Develop payment and servicing solutions for corporations with significant travel requirements, encompassing supplier negotiations, booking workflows, duty of care considerations, and cost-optimization strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Proven track record of establishing relationships and influencing at the executive level, including delivering business cases and performance reviews to senior stakeholders.

β€’ Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional projects involving virtual teams, regions, and internal departments.

β€’ Proficient in navigating ambiguous or shifting client needs, with a proactive and strategic problem-solving approach.

β€’ Experience in developing and advancing a pipeline of opportunities through strategic, solution-oriented selling.

β€’ Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple priorities within tight deadlines.

β€’ Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the capacity to convert complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.

β€’ Expertise in crafting strategic plans and action initiatives tailored to client-specific objectives.

β€’ High level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer service orientation.

β€’ At least 3 years of experience in the corporate travel industry or travel technology sector, with an understanding of the travel payment requirements of large and multinational corporations.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of the travel agency operating model, travel technology and infrastructure, and the integration of travel payment solutions.

β€’ Proven experience managing global clients with complex, matrixed structures, particularly in travel, digital, technology, or related industries.

β€’ Comprehensive understanding of Global Corporate Payments products, including both B2B and T&E payment solutions.

β€’ Familiarity with or experience in Virtual Payment solutions is advantageous.

β€’ Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and influence financial levers, including incentive structures, pricing, and margin drivers.

β€’ Ability to work virtually, as well as reside in and travel within the specified East Coast/Midwest territory is essential.

β€’ Must be eligible for employment with American Express in the United States; the company will not seek visa sponsorship for these roles.
