Manager II, Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Platform Design Director.

• Take ownership of the design domain, delivering outstanding UI/UX throughout acquisition, engagement/retention, and monetization journeys.

• Lead the discovery, definition, development, and delivery of UI/UX for the B2B2X SaaS platform, evaluated through usability, Customer Experience Score (CES), and other pertinent metrics.

• Conduct user-focused research to uncover challenges faced by target customers and partners.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineering leads to identify opportunities and enhance platform value.

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.

• Develop functional prototypes for concept showcase and user testing.

• Execute visual designs from conception through to final hand-off to engineering.

• Establish and advocate for design guidelines, best practices, and standards while contributing to the design system.

• Review product releases qualitatively and quantitatively before and after launch.

• Share key insights within the team and serve as a positive role model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as a product designer, preferably with a background in both B2C and B2B environments.

• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

• A robust portfolio showcasing UI/UX best practices, design thinking, and captivating user interfaces and experiences.

• Experience leveraging LLM platforms for user, design, and market research to enhance productivity and design efficacy.

• Familiarity with user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.

• Solid working knowledge of iterative design processes, including personas, user journeys, prototyping, wireframing, and high-fidelity screens.

• Ability to navigate through ambiguity and deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Skill in transforming complex ideas into compelling, easily understandable visuals.

• Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, and Jira.

• Open-mindedness, patience, and a willingness to accept feedback.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying design concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
