Manager, Global Clinical Supplies, Technology and Planning

📋 Description

• Act as the business owner and subject matter expert for the N-SIDE forecasting suite as well as related clinical supply planning technologies.

• Oversee study builds, forecasting models, system configurations, and IRT integrations for new clinical studies.

• Create and deliver user training sessions, documentation, and ongoing system support.

• Collaborate with Clinical Supply planners to formulate and enhance forecasting models and planning assumptions.

• Work in partnership with Clinical Operations, Technical Operations, IMSC, and IT to deploy and improve clinical supply technologies and system integrations.

• Manage user requirements, testing, issue resolution, and implementation activities in coordination with internal stakeholders and technology vendors.

• Discover opportunities to refine forecasting processes, reporting, automation, and data quality.

• Assist with system governance, documentation, change management, and continuous process enhancement.

• Represent the Clinical Supply Chain on cross-functional study teams.

• Create and maintain clinical supply forecasts, inventory plans, and supply strategies for assigned studies.

• Oversee supply planning activities with internal teams and external vendors.

• Manage co-medication sourcing, budgets, and inventory, as necessary.

• Support IRT strategy, user acceptance testing, and ongoing supply management.

• Lead clinical supply meetings and communicate supply risks, mitigation strategies, and study status to stakeholders.

• Monitor inventory, expiry dates, study timelines, and key supply metrics to ensure a seamless clinical supply process.

• Maintain study documentation and escalate any significant supply risks or timeline issues.

• Facilitate discussions and decisions regarding label and packaging design as required.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials.

• Lead or assist with departmental process improvement and technology initiatives.

• Share best practices and encourage cross-functional collaboration.

• Represent the Global Clinical Supply Chain in both internal and external initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field.

• Over 4 years of experience in clinical supply chain or pharmaceutical development.

• At least 2 years of practical experience with clinical supply forecasting, inventory planning, or simulation tools.

• Familiarity with N-SIDE, IRT systems, or similar clinical supply technologies.

• Experience in supporting system implementations, integrations, user acceptance testing, and change management processes.

• Knowledge of global clinical trials, clinical supply processes, cGMP, and GCP regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
