Manager, Financial Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud solutions.

• Oversee and provide support for the Oracle Financials modules within the ERP Cloud.

• Lead a small team while ensuring 100% hands-on configuration and support duties.

• Assist users with daily operations, month-end, and year-end processes.

• Investigate and evaluate business workflows to uncover improvement opportunities.

• Maintain SOX compliance through proper documentation of system and permission alterations.

• Collaborate with accounting team members to document and enhance existing workflows.

• Keep an eye on new system releases for possible enhancements.

• Conduct user training on system functionalities and processes.

• Diagnose system issues and deliver prompt solutions.

• Execute data cleansing activities to enhance reporting and processes.

• Innovate solutions for complex challenges.

• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and other business teams as a member of the Enterprise Applications team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong accounting background; CPA designation is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience supporting Oracle solutions.

• At least 50% of Oracle experience should be with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud.

• Familiarity with system financial audits and controls.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Comfort in engaging with finance and accounting users across various levels.

• Extensive knowledge of GL, GIS, AP, and Cash Management modules.

• Procurement expertise is preferred.

• Knowledge of Order to Cash processes is an advantage.

• Experience in supporting acquisitions and divestitures is a plus.

• Basic understanding of role structures.

• Familiarity with OTBI and essential Oracle table structures.

• Competence in writing documentation and delivering training.

• Capability to design, propose, and document effective solutions.

• Experience working in end-user settings to facilitate daily operations and closing activities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt swiftly to changing environments.

• Background in a global, multi-entity, multi-currency context.
