Manager, Financial Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery process within the financial systems ecosystem, which encompasses requirements definition, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.

• Facilitate business process mapping and requirements-gathering workshops with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Tax, People, GTM, and Data teams.

• Convert business requirements into system solutions, configurations, and prioritized roadmap initiatives.

• Act as the Finance Systems liaison to the People, GTM, Data, FP&A, and Accounting departments.

• Establish the technical roadmap for financial systems and finance automation.

• Coordinate priorities and delivery timelines with the Corporate Controller, CFO organization, and IT departments.

• Champion finance automation and AI initiatives, develop business cases, and promote adoption.

• Design, build, and implement AI-driven workflows for reconciliation preparation, flux and variance analysis, AP exception detection, and document and contract extraction.

• Oversee the administration of NetSuite OneWorld in a multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, multi-book setting along with supporting systems.

• Create, monitor, and maintain integrations across ERP, procurement, travel and expense, banking, HCM, CRM, close management, planning, and reporting platforms.

• Manage NetSuite consultants and oversee projects involving configuration, testing, programming, and scripting.

• Develop and adjust NetSuite reports, saved searches, KPIs, and dashboards as needed.

• Handle NetSuite modifications, customizations, and requests for third-party integrations.

• Ensure security measures, access controls, data classifications, and role-based access controls are maintained.

• Monitor and enhance system availability, reliability, and scalability.

• Lead and nurture a growing team of Business Systems Analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a relevant field.

• NetSuite certification is preferred (Administrator level).

• Over 5 years of experience in financial systems, ERP administration, or finance technology leadership.

• Practical experience with NetSuite in a multi-subsidiary OneWorld context.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with NetSuite, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, custom records and fields, and roles and permissions.

• Experience with implementing and supporting NetSuite integrations with platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, Adaptive, Snowflake, Avalara, Expensify, Zip, Navan, or similar alternatives.

• Solid understanding of NetSuite workflows, SuiteScript, customizations, reports, and saved searches.

• Experience handling sensitive financial data, SOX controls, change management, segregation of duties (SoD), and IT general controls (ITGC).

• Familiarity with evaluating, piloting, or implementing AI/LLM tools in finance or accounting.

• Passion for emerging AI technologies and practical, controlled applications in finance.

• Experience in a SaaS company with a globally supported, PEO-managed workforce is advantageous.

• Capability to independently manage teams, time, and competing priorities.
