This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Act as the financial analytics authority for multi-market occupier and broker client projects.
• Engage in the onboarding and transition processes for leasing and/or multi-market client accounts.
• Create and tailor financial models that align with client decision-making workflows, KPIs, and reporting needs.
• Convert client business goals into adaptable financial analytics solutions.
• Develop standardized methodologies while being flexible to unique client demands.
• Work in conjunction with account leadership and transaction teams to apply financial frameworks.
• Construct and sustain intricate, dynamic financial models that assess real estate options.
• Evaluate occupancy costs, lease structures, cash flows, and capital expenditures to inform transaction recommendations.
• Conduct cash versus GAAP analyses and assess the financial impacts of various transaction structures.
• Enhance and improve modeling methodologies and analytical tools.
• Direct financial analyses for tenant representation and occupier transactions.
• Provide actionable insights that support occupancy strategies, portfolio optimization, and informed business decisions.
• Oversee the development, governance, and progression of financial modeling tools and frameworks.
• Facilitate technological solutions that enhance analytical capabilities and reporting efficiencies.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, focusing on Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of increasingly responsible experience in financial analysis, real estate finance, occupier services, or similar fields.
• Proven track record in leading complex financial analyses for real estate transactions involving occupiers and tenants.
• Experience collaborating closely with tenant representation brokerage teams is preferred.
• Prior experience in managing, mentoring, or developing financial professionals is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, encompassing sophisticated and dynamic financial models.
• Strong grasp of cash flow analysis, lease analysis, occupancy cost analysis, and real estate financial structures.
• Experience with cash versus GAAP accounting analyses is essential.
• Familiarity with ProCalc or analogous real estate financial analysis platforms is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively function as a player-coach, balancing personal contributions with team leadership.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of communicating at the executive level.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
