Manager, Executive Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Compose executive communications, which include speeches, talking points, scripts, emails, articles, FAQs, and messages from leadership.

• Develop presentations and supplementary materials for leadership.

• Assist in town halls, leadership meetings, fireside chats, and other executive events by providing briefing materials, remarks, Q&A, and event communications.

• Collaborate with communications colleagues and business leaders to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives.

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, coordinating timelines, reviews, approvals, and deliverables.

• Publish and manage content across internal channels, such as email, intranet, and event platforms.

• Evaluate communications for accuracy, clarity, brand consistency, and adherence to company policies.

• Identify opportunities to enhance business initiatives, increase executive visibility, and boost employee engagement.

• Work in partnership with the Corporate Affairs and Executive Communications teams on storytelling and content creation.

• Maintain templates for communications, messaging materials, and editorial resources.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Graphic Design, or a related field; relevant professional qualifications or specialized training will also be considered.

• Equivalent experience may be taken into account.

• 5–7 years of communications experience in a corporate, agency, media, or executive communications setting.

• Outstanding writing and editing capabilities.

• Proficiency in simplifying complex topics to make them engaging and easily understandable.

• Ability to adapt to various executive voices and communication styles.

• Strong skills in PowerPoint and presentation development.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong collaborative skills and the ability to cultivate productive relationships with stakeholders.

• Experience in supporting executive communications, employee communications, leadership events, or presentations is preferred.

• Familiarity with intranet publishing platforms, email communication tools, and event support is an advantage.
