Manager, Events and Memberships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the annual events calendar, which includes conferences, webinars, customer meetings, and industry events.

• Oversee logistics for both in-person and virtual events, covering venues, travel, catering, audiovisual needs, and registration.

• Ensure smooth execution of events from the planning stage to post-event follow-up.

• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to formulate strategies for event attendance.

• Assist with outreach campaigns before and after events, including invitations, follow-ups, and lead management.

• Cultivate relationships with event vendors, including venues, production teams, technicians, and catering services.

• Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure timely and budget-compliant service delivery.

• Create event budgets and monitor expenses against the planned budget.

• Handle invoice processing, payment management, and upkeep of financial documentation.

• Supervise registration systems and manage attendee logistics.

• Develop and oversee post-event evaluation methods to assess event performance and return on investment (ROI).

• Analyze metrics related to attendance, engagement, and lead generation to guide future event planning.

• Assess and recommend industry associations and memberships that align with the company’s growth objectives.

• Manage memberships effectively to maximize benefits such as sponsorship opportunities, speaking engagements, and networking access.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in event coordination, marketing operations, or conference management.

• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

• Experience in managing budgets, vendors, and logistics.

• Ability to coordinate effectively across sales, marketing, and external partners.

• Familiarity with event platforms, CRM systems, and registration tools is preferred.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
