This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics prior to events.
• Provide on-site event management support for various community events.
• Conduct outreach to attendees of social events and members of the Cor Vitae and Circle of Red giving societies before events.
• Aid in the preparation of sponsor presentations.
• Collect materials for follow-up with sponsors after meetings.
• Help nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
• Offer support in pulling reports and performing data entry tasks.
• Organize event-related information to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Prepare printed materials and assemble thank-you cards.
• Manage the organization of event supplies.
• Candidates must be seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in business, communications, public relations, nonprofit fundraising, or event management.
• Proficiency in Canva is essential.
• Basic experience with Adobe software is required.
• Experience or interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising is preferred.
• Exceptional written communication skills are necessary.
• Strong one-on-one and group communication abilities are a must.
• Comfortable working professionally with community leaders, volunteers, and staff.
• Effective oral communication and presentation skills are required.
• Proficiency in various social media platforms is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities across various entities.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is needed.
• Reliable transportation to and within Central PA, specifically Blair and Cambria Counties, is necessary.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
• Remote work must be conducted within the United States, not from any foreign country.
