Manager, Environmental Health & Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives across various manufacturing locations.

• Frequently travel to manufacturing sites to promote EHS programs.

• Collaborate with corporate sustainability teams on environmental compliance and reporting.

• Formulate and execute comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs for the organization.

• Perform safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure workplace safety.

• Guarantee adherence to OSHA, ANSI, environmental, and other relevant regulations.

• Facilitate safety training sessions at all levels of the organization.

• Examine accidents, incidents, and near misses to implement corrective measures.

• Set safety objectives, metrics, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Keep accurate records related to incidents, audits, inspections, and compliance.

• Report safety performance metrics and suggestions to senior management.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing safety leadership.

• In-depth understanding of OSHA, ANSI, and environmental regulations.

• Experience in environmental compliance with a strong emphasis on safety.

• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with safety management software and reporting tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a similar field is preferred.

• CSP or CIH certification is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50–70% of the time.
