This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, requirements, solution design, delivery, validation, adoption, and continuous enhancement of designated commercial analytics capabilities.
• Transform intricate business inquiries into analytical methodologies utilizing claims, real-world data, CRM, patient services, market access, and other sanctioned commercial data.
• Create and refine SQL queries and analytical transformations to generate dependable datasets, automate workflows, reconcile outcomes, and facilitate scalable reporting and analysis.
• Spearhead complex analytics workstreams by developing project plans and governance, coordinating cross-functional dependencies, managing trade-offs, and updating leadership on progress, risks, business implications, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT, Data Engineering, data vendors, and consulting partners on data acquisition, integration, warehousing, and production delivery.
• Define and enhance KPIs, analytical processes, model governance, data-quality controls, documentation, lineage, and repeatable reporting standards.
• Conduct HCP/HCO and site-of-care analytics, segmentation and targeting, patient-flow analysis, field performance measurement, brand performance evaluation, forecast support, and scenario analysis.
• Present findings, assumptions, limitations, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including commercial leadership.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders, project teams, analysts, and vendors while driving change without formal people-management responsibilities.
• Identify market inefficiencies, process deficiencies, and unfulfilled analytics needs while devising scalable solutions to enhance commercial effectiveness.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry related to data analytics, business intelligence, commercial insights, advanced analytics, or a similar field.
• Previous experience managing a team of direct and indirect reports is preferred.
• Capability to independently oversee analytics projects from requirements gathering to delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Practical experience with large, complex healthcare and commercial datasets, including claims/RWD, CRM, patient-level, HCP/HCO, patient services, payer/access, or comparable data.
• Strong experience in constructing dashboards and analytical solutions using Power BI, encompassing data modeling, DAX, Power Query, visualization, and report design.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Excel.
• Familiarity with relational or cloud data warehouses and ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders, IT/Data teams, data vendors, or consulting partners, and evaluating deliverables against established requirements.
• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical launch, specialty-product, commercial operations, market access, field analytics, or forecasting support.
• Awareness of platforms or data sources such as Veeva CRM and Veeva Nitro.
• Experience with OpenData, IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure SQL is advantageous; proficiency across all platforms is not mandatory.
