This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the Loss Prevention function and initiatives within specified areas of responsibility.
• Offer cross-functional Loss Prevention support for organizational processes.
• Oversee multiple tasks and projects to meet objectives.
• Evaluate current Loss Prevention merchandising, operational, and related processes to pinpoint shrink and profit-loss liabilities.
• Discover solutions, provide recommendations, and implement controls to reduce shrink and profit loss.
• Incorporate Loss Prevention considerations into cross-functional business activities.
• Communicate enhancements and changes in processes across functions and within Loss Prevention.
• Select, develop, and inspire assigned staff.
• Manage a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors or managers.
• Address personnel matters, including recruitment, termination, performance evaluations, and professional growth.
• Generally report to the Senior Manager of Asset Protection.
• Travel overnight as necessary.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
• At least 1 year of experience with Home Depot.
• A minimum of 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in Loss Prevention store management or supervisory roles.
• Must successfully pass a drug test.
• Must successfully complete a background check.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• A Master's Degree is preferred.
• Capability to analyze Loss Prevention merchandising, operational, and related processes.
• Proficiency in identifying issues, providing recommendations, driving solutions, and implementing controls to address theft, fraud, shrink, and asset protection concerns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate directly with business leaders and cultivate effective business partnerships.
• Competence in setting ambitious objectives, communicating clear expectations, demonstrating urgency, and taking ownership of tasks.
• Capability to operate and manage business-related programs.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
