Manager, Consulting Services – MIM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical discovery process, solution architecture, and scoping discussions alongside Sales and Customer Success teams.

• Draft and finalize Statements of Work, allocate resources, and estimate costs for intricate deployments.

• Convert operational needs into technical roadmaps that involve PKI, workload identity, and API integrations.

• Ensure accountability for the quality of service delivery, project margins, and metrics of customer satisfaction.

• Act as the primary escalation point for technical and operational challenges during engagements.

• Develop delivery methodologies and best practices to expedite implementation cycles and enhance profit margins.

• Manage, mentor, and cultivate a team of Machine Identity Management Consultants.

• Oversee resource utilization, task assignments, and career development trajectories.

• Conduct performance assessments, provide technical coaching, and facilitate hiring to support team expansion.

• Connect field consulting operations with internal Product Management and Engineering teams.

• Relay implementation challenges and customer feature requests into product development roadmaps.

• Coordinate with product release schedules to ensure the consulting team is up-to-date on new software capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of experience in Professional Services, Technical Consulting, or Systems Integration.

• More than 2 years in a team leadership or direct people management capacity.

• In-depth knowledge of Machine Identity Management (MIM), PKI, SSL/TLS certificate automation, and SSH key management.

• Practical experience with software development, REST APIs, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Go), and enterprise integrations.

• Proven experience in creating Statements of Work, estimating effort, tracking margins, and managing utilization goals.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience in presenting intricate technical ideas to C-level executives.

• Preferred: experience with zero-trust security frameworks and leveraging Artificial Intelligence in cybersecurity, development, and automation.

• Preferred: familiarity with DevOps tools, cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP), and IAM platforms.
