Manager, Commercial Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary finance partner for the Americas Regional Vice President within the Analytical Solutions and Customer Enablement Global Business Lines.

• Lead financial planning and forecasting initiatives throughout the Americas region.

• Deliver insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

• Provide guidance to commercial leadership to promote profitable growth.

• Recognize and evaluate risks and opportunities, communicating the financial status and its implications.

• Oversee P&L analysis, conduct variance reviews, and identify trends.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis in accordance with SIOP.

• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and finance teams during strategic planning and business reviews.

• Identify inefficiencies and create initiatives to enhance productivity and fortify internal controls.

• Assist in analysis related to pricing, volume, mix, and cost variances.

• Supervise and mentor one direct report.

• Elevate critical decisions to the Regional Vice President and Commercial Finance Director as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading commercial finance for regional business operations.

• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities, conducting ad hoc analysis, and driving process improvements.

• Experienced in P&L analysis, variance assessments, and trend identification.

• Skilled in converting complex data into actionable insights.

• Familiar with aligning financial forecasts with SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning).

• Ability to collaborate effectively across commercial, operations, and finance teams.

• Background in developing financial processes and enhancing internal controls.

• Competent in price, volume, mix analysis, and cost variance analysis.

• Leadership experience, including the management and development of a direct report.

• Capability to work independently within a collaborative, matrixed environment.

• Relevant skills, experience, and education or training in related fields.
