Manager, Clinical Value Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing and facilitating Value Analysis Committees as well as service line advisory groups.

• Implement standardized value analysis processes, policies, and evaluation frameworks for clinical products and services.

• Assess products based on clinical evidence, regulatory requirements, infection prevention measures, and financial implications.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, service line directors, and operational leaders to review technologies, product requests, and opportunities for standardization.

• Act as a liaison among clinical stakeholders, facility supply chain teams, and Client Engagement teams.

• Identify opportunities to enhance patient outcomes, workflow efficiency, and product utilization.

• Assist in achieving cost savings, ensuring contract compliance, and supporting product standardization initiatives.

• Perform ROI modeling, utilization analyses, cost comparisons, and savings tracking.

• Work together with sourcing teams on GPO contracts, vendor negotiations, and supply chain strategies.

• Create and maintain value analysis dashboards and performance metrics.

• Utilize data analytics to pinpoint variations and identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure product evaluations are in line with regulatory standards, patient safety requirements, infection prevention guidelines, and clinical best practices.

• Provide mentorship to Value Analysis Analysts, Clinical Resource Specialists, and members of cross-functional teams.

• Facilitate stakeholder education on value analysis processes and best practices.

• Travel to partner facilities for onsite support, stakeholder meetings, product evaluations, and activities related to implementation or conversion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is mandatory.

• Active RN clinical licensure is required.

• 5–8+ years of experience in healthcare is essential.

• A minimum of 3 years in value analysis, supply chain, or clinical resource management is preferred.

• Experience in working with physicians and clinical leadership is required (executive or C-suite leadership experience is preferred).

• Experience with interdisciplinary clinical teams is necessary.

• Familiarity with medical device and clinical supply categories is required.

• Experience in healthcare contracting and GPO environments is preferred.

• Experience with product evaluation committees is necessary.

• Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP) is preferred.

• Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement certification is preferred.

• Strong experience in perioperative/operating room settings is required.

• Knowledge of surgical workflows and physician preference products is essential.
