Manager, Clinical Informatics Education – Epic, Clinical Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Informatics in achieving educational objectives for EHR and other information systems regarding deployment, sustainment, adoption, and optimization.

• Offer guidance, leadership, and coaching to teams tasked with the design, development, publication, and maintenance of change communication and learning materials.

• Encourage the safe, effective, and efficient utilization of information technology in both clinical and business environments.

• Collaborate with co-managers to oversee cross-team initiatives that include management of training environments, project resourcing, Credential Trainer programs, standards for change communication and learning deliverables, publication and maintenance, management of publication platforms, and evaluation of educational effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Informatics, healthcare, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• At least 6 years of experience in education within an information services or training context.

• A minimum of 3 years of management experience.

• Experience in healthcare information services operations and support.

• At least 4 years of leadership experience.

• Preferred: A Master's degree in education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Informatics, healthcare, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• Preferred upon hire: Certification related to healthcare and/or education.

• Preferred upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing.

• Preferred: 3 years of educational experience in a large organization with multiple implementations.

• Experience in standardizing complex and disparate processes.

• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, change management, and operational experience in a complex environment.
